Dr. Christina J. Thomas is research and public historian, curator, and digital humanist invested in community archiving. Her research interests include nineteenth and twentieth century African American history with an emphasis on biography, education, Black girlhood, and Black women’s history.

Thomas holds a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University in addition to a bachelor and master degree in history from Messiah University and UNC-Charlotte. Diary of Historian details her research findings, digital projects, and other musings.
